I work in strategy and operations.

I think about systems and workflows often. I like to understand how things work together. I’m addicted to How it’s made. I enjoy learning, understanding trends and patterns, and sharing and teaching with others.

I like to take things apart and put them back together again.

There’s always something to fix or upgrade where I live. As a child, my favorite toys were construx and legos. I’ve fabricated shields, crafted headdresses, and sewn gowns. Cooking is therapy.

Corgis are too popular for their own good.

Corgi, in welsh, literally means cor 'dwarf' + ci 'dog'. Social Media, Buzzfeed and the internet made these dogs insanely popular. Some people don’t research enough on the breed characteristics and behaviors, and poor breeders have taken advantage of the populatrity. I’m part of Queen’s Best Stumpy Dog Rescue to care for surrendered and needy dogs.

There are over 7,000 islands in the Philippines.

Several communities are separated by terrain and water and have been influenced by surrounding Asia, Africa, Europe and across the Pacific. These living cultures, religions, and ethnolinguistic groups have nearly endless stories of ethnic performing arts. Ethnic and Folk music & dance is as much anthropology, sociology, and history as it is performing arts. I play music, dance, and sing with Kawayan Folk Arts.
